A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF UMUBULU GENERAL MEETING, HELD ON FEBRUARY 25TH 2018 AT THE PALACE OF THE OKPALA-UKU OF UMUBU-AMAI, UKWUANI L.G.A., DELTA STATE, OKPALA-UKU (CHIEF) OSSAI OJIMIWE.
The meeting was attended by sons and daughters of Amai Kingdom across the nation, punctually and populously.
Following a controversial article published on page 17 of a the Pointers Newspaper on Feb. 20th 2018 by a Faction Of Amai Development Union in which Barr. Eze Onyolu Signed Unbehalf of the good and united people of Umubu which is fraudulent and illegal.
On the note that the peaceful and United people of Umubu has on many occasions called on their sons, Mr. Alfred Oduwe and Barr. Eze Onyolu to desist from their disgraceful deeds which is bringing shame to Umubu quarter of Amai Kingdom.
Umubu quarter of Amai Kingdom, widely known for their Unity was quick to call Mr. Alfred Oduwe and Barr. Eze Onyolu to desist from aligning themselves with the group of people hiding under the umbrella of ADU to cause confusion by misleading the general public with malicious Articles and publications against Hrm Eze Paul Solomon Ifeneziuche, the Igwete of Amai Kingdom thereby bringing shame to Umubu as a quarter.
Haven proven all doubts that the long rope given to them to climb to repentance is no way in use and their Rebellious deeds continue to spread thereby raining muds to sink the name of Umubu, hence this crucial meeting was summoned to tackle this very lingering issues.
After careful deliberation, the united people of Umubu made the following resolutions:
1. The united people of Umubu hereby refute all written pappers/documents of any form written or signed by Mr. Alfred Oduwe, Barr. Eze Onyolu or both unbehalf of Umubu, stating clearly that Umubu is completely behind Hrm. Eze Paul Solomon Ifeneziuche and can never send anyone to sign such a rebellious article. We hereby urge the general public to take note of the fact that Barr. Eze Onyolu Signing unbehalf of Umubu is highly illegal and fraudulent.
2. The united people of Umubu hereby Ostracise Mr. Alfred Oduwe and Barr. Eze Onyolu indefinitely and the duo must henceforth stop associating with the people of Umubu as the people will do likewise unto them.
3. The united people of Umubu decreed that on no account should Mr, Alfred Oduwe, Barr. Eze Onyolu or both represent Umubu anywhere or in anything.
4. The united people of Umubu also Decreed that Mr. Alfred Oduwe and Barr. Eze Onyolu should henceforth desist from parading themselves in positions belonging to Umubu.
CONCLUSION:
Umubulu known as United and peaceful people of Amai Kingdom can never take part in sabotaging our only kingdom, Amai or our Reverend King, Hrm. Eze Paul Solomon Ifeneziuche, the Igwete Of Amai Kingdom. We will unitedly continue to live peacefully and make sure that our status is preserved.
