The distinguished Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi, representing the Delta North Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, is set to electrify Okpanam community with Solar street lightings before this year's Xmas celebration.
Speaking through his Special Assistant on project matters, chief Nelson Agbamuche, Sen. Nwaoboshi noted that Okpanam was one of the fastest growing communities around and she needed all the facilities to enable her assume the status of a city in the capital area.

Briefing the Ugoani of Okpanam, Ugoani Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu, at his Palace, chief Agbamuche, the Odozi Ani of Akwukwu Igbo, said that it would be done in phases.
According to chief Agbamuche, the first phase shall run through Amachai, Ogbeozoma/Ogbe obi and Ugoani Palace road.
A total of four hundred and nineteen (419) shall be installed in this first phase.
